Tendai Ndoro netted twice against his former club as Orlando Pirates claimed a 3-1 victory over Black Aces on Sunday.

The clash was off to a frenetic start as Pirates took the lead after only five minutes. Memela did well on the right flank before crossing for Thabo Rakhale who finished it with a placed volley.

Amazayoni responded in the 12th minute as they levelled matters. Bryce Moon did the work on the right wing before cutting it back for Collins Mbesuma to rifle home at the near post.

Bucs came within inches of restoring their lead in the 22nd minute when Mpho Makola curled a clever free kick towards the top corner of the Aces goal, only to see it hit the bar instead.

ANC member’s rape rap deferred – raped teenager infected with HIV

image

The case of an ANC member accused of raping and kidnapping a 15-year-old girl in the North West has been postponed to allow him to get a legal representative and apply for bail .

The man, who is in his 40s, appeared briefly in the Vryburg Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He is facing one count of rape, one count of attempted murder and one count of abduction.

According to the court papers, he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl at his home on November 15 last year.

The ANC member faces a charge of attempted murder relating to sleeping with the girl while knowing that he i s HIV positive.

ANC provincial secretary Dakota Legotoe said the man has been for some time trying to convince members of the party and the community to support his ambitions to become the ANC candidate for the local government elections.

The last encounter between the man and the teenager is said to have been 10 days ago when he was seen entering his house with the girl and later leaving without.

Magistrate Itumeleng Mabudisa said on February 6, the man allegedly abducted the girl with the intention of having sex with her.

Asked if he needed a legal representative, the man, who was wearing a red T-shirt and a pair of jeans, said he wanted to check whether his father had managed to find him a lawyer.

“I will need my own lawyer. There is someone I have to see first to discuss issues of getting a lawyer. I want to consult with my father,” he said.

The courtroom was packed with ANC members. Some were supporting the accused, saying his arrest was a plot to block his political ambition ahead of the upcoming local government elections.

They held placards written “Hands off our leader”, and “Stop all political plots”. They said the underage girl was not raped but was in a long-term relationship with their comrade.

On the opposite side was another group of ANC members who taunted the accused, calling him a “rapist”.

Legotoe said the ANC did not and will not support any candidate with criminal behaviour.

“We are convinced and confident that members of the ANC have made a correct choice by electing individuals with clean criminal records and good behaviour to represent the ANC in the coming local government elections,” Legotoe said.

The man will appear in court again on Monday.

MODISE GOES FROM BIG CAR TO SMALL

Teko Modise

IT’S easy come, easy go with Teko Modise’s millions. He spends a lot, but then he earns a lot.

And sometimes he ends up in a tight spot, with more cash going out than what’s coming in.

The former Bafana Bafana midfielder is a rich man – with a record of having his assets seized by the repo guys.

Sources close to the star alleged that the repo men collected Teko’s Jeep SRT8.

And this was barely two months after he helped his team to the MTN8 Cup and pocketed a very cool R8 million bonus!

Teko seems to be piling up the silverware with his team. But his off-the-field luck seems to have run out at the moment.

Last week, a source claimed: “Teko arrived late for a training session in a Golf. He explained to coach Pitso Mosimane that he was dealing with people who wanted their Jeep back.

“The coach was pissed off because he’d been advising players to think smart when tempted by nice things that cost them a lot of money.”

Teko might find himself in the money again, as his team is leading the race in the Absa Premier League Championship.

And then he’ll be back in the big spender league.

KULI: LADIES, STOP ASKING MEN FOR MONEY!

Kuli Roberts

I WAS telling my friend about some guy who runs a seminar to teach women how to get more money from their boyfriends.

She said: “So, if they’re not prostitutes, why

must they milk men? Why are women still avoiding hard work for their own keep? Why would you expect a man to pay for your hair, lashes, nails, make-up and clothes? Those are things which will all come off in the end!

“Natural beauty is easier, cheaper and less stressful – without weaves, lashes, nails and make-up. Why bother to nag a man for all those things that make you look like a drag artist?”

I have no clue. But hey, she can talk!

Nonetheless, my friend is right when she says
high-maintenance women should stop depending on their men’s wages. Be calm, ladies – and find your own source of income.

Surely, you paid for your own hair before you met him, so why must you expect cash in a relationship?

Is he an ATM and do you reciprocate in a perpetual state of thankfulness?

Darling – are you so pathetic that you can’t date a man without asking him for things to make you appear prettier? Are you dating your man for cash? Are you the kind of woman who salivates when you see his wallet?

Please, don’t tell me you expect imali yomqamelo.

Hun, you’re not a hooker. But when did women become so greedy they have to take extortion lessons?

Ladies – please remember your dignity and stop asking men for your nails, hair and clothes. What you need are worldly possessions in your own name, like a car or a great handbag. And who has sex for a bag?

No sane woman asks her man for cash unless she resembles a camel – hairy and bumpy with large feet. Demanding manicure money is demeaning. I say you deserve the moon and the stars!

A man is not asked for money. Angel, he comes with it. He is it. First, he gives you your own card for shopping and lunch. This is the kind of man who’ll expect you to move in and be his.

A man of this stature doesn’t want you to ask, play tricks or wheedle like a little girl when you want something. You become his wealth.

So stop silly seminars, or asking for eWallet or airtime. Stop dating boys and start dating men who won’t make you fetch. Unless you like being his bitch.

FORMER BAFANA STAR MAKES A LIVING AS A PRISON WARDER!

Lungisani Ndlela

ROLES have been reversed for Lungisani Ndlela, who is making a living as a prison warder in Witbank, in Mpumalanga, these days.

During his prime time as a hot-shot striker for Bafana Bafana, Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns, Lungisani used to be tightly policed by defenders on the pitch.

That was because he possessed a lethal left foot that wreaked havoc in the defence as he set to bang in goals in almost every match.

But after his fall from the top, Lungisani has turned to guarding some dangerous people in prison.

Date: 19 February 2016

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Mamelodi Sundowns were left frustrated, after being held to a 0-0 draw by a stubborn Golden Arrows on Saturday.

The encounter got off to a slow start, although Sundowns started asserting their dominance after 10 minutes.

Clinton Larsen’s side were quite content to let the Brazilians have the ball, while they attacked on the counter with Mahachi, Ramagalela and Hotto.

Sundowns went close in the 38th minute when Teko Modise’s free-kick from 25-yards out sailed just wide of the Mbaeva’s upright.

The home side should have gone ahead two minutes later when Wayne Arendse’s long ball found Khama Billiat, who placed his effort wide of the upright with Mbaeva to beat.
