COLESBERG- Three suspects appeared before Colesberg Magistrate’s Court for theft. The suspects were arrested after they allegedly broke into a truck and stole soup bowls. The incident took place on Thursday at a garage near N1 road.

Northern Cape police spokesperson, Lieutenant Sergio Kock said the suspects were charged for theft out of motor vehicle.

“The suspects broke into one of the trucks near N1 road. The driver was asleep when the incident happened. The driver alleged that he was latent after a long journey. The total value of the stolen goods was R45 000. 15 boxes of bowls, 97 unit of cereal including one box of Oval platter. Police followed on a tip-off and arrested three men. They appeared before Colesberg Magistrates’ Court on Friday,” Kock said.
