The South African Police Service (SAPS) management in North West said, they have noted with concern a video circulating on social media platforms, wherein a Sergeant can be seen exchanging obscenities with a member of the community at Sannieshof Police Station.
The North West Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena, expressed his disappointment about the police’s conduct, which he said is totally unacceptable and against the organisational Code of Conduct and Ethical Principles. Kwena has since given strict instructions that the incident be thoroughly investigated.
“We urge members to be calm, exercise patience and display professional conduct at all times irrespective of the situation,” he said.
