Parole of convicted wife shooter and mistress killer deferred
Johannesburg –Â A man convicted of killing his mistress and repeatedly shooting and leaving his ex-wife for dead has had his parole deferred.
This followed his ex-wife being contacted by the department, correctional services department regional spokesperson Ofentse Morwane told News24.
Thabo Mokhele was jailed for 18 years in 2007 for shooting ex-wife Precious Eland over 10 times in March 2005 and killing mistress Mabel Kote while out on bail for shooting Eland.

Dewani London inquest postponed
Johannesburg – The inquest into Anni Dewani’s murder in South Africa will resume on October 9 in London with a list of unanswered questions for her husband Shrien.
Coroner Andrew Walker said in brief proceedings he did not think there would be any point to the inquest, because Anni’s death on November 13 2010 had already been investigated in South Africa. He could also not force anybody to travel to London to testify at the inquest.
Anni’s family believes the inquest is their last chance to find out what really happened to their daughter while the couple were on their honeymoon in Cape Town.
