Health MEC Dr Magome Masike is concerned at the high number of medical professionals who are leaving the North West in search of greener pastures in other provinces or beyond the South African borders.

Masike revealed this during a meeting facilitated by his department and including nurses, doctors, traditional healers and other stakeholders.

The meeting, which was held at the Tlokwe municipality banquet hall early this week, was aimed at addressing issues that were raised during a previous gathering in February.
