NORTH West premier Supra Mahumapelo alongside MEC for Public Works department, Madoda Sambatha did sod-turning for new road that will be constructed in Mahikeng. 

The new freeway will reduce traffic while entering into the capital city. Mahumapelo said the construction of the road is expected to be completed in 2020. 

He added that the vision was part of rebranding, reposition and renewal (RRR). Mahumapelo highlighted that they planning to make Mahikeng one of the best and safest cities in Africa.
