PRETORIA – The Basic Education Department has told teachers to prepare to administer the Annual National Assessment (ANA) exams despite an announcement by five unions that they will not participate in the process.
Sadtu, Naptosa and three other unions earlier today said that in its current form, the assessment is of no value, and it will only administer the exams after a diagnostic tool is remodeled.
