Johannesburg – The inquest into Anni Dewani’s murder in South Africa will resume on October 9 in London with a list of unanswered questions for her husband Shrien.

Coroner Andrew Walker said in brief proceedings he did not think there would be any point to the inquest, because Anni’s death on November 13 2010 had already been investigated in South Africa. He could also not force anybody to travel to London to testify at the inquest.

Anni’s family believes the inquest is their last chance to find out what really happened to their daughter while the couple were on their honeymoon in Cape Town.

THE YOUNG women rush to the clinic to get as many female condoms as they can lay their hands on.

While matrons think they want to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies and STIs, these young women know better.

THEY KEEP THE LITTLE SPONGES FOR DOING MAKE-UP – AND THROW AWAY THE OILY BAG!

“The sponge is a quality product,” said Sandile Mkhebe (22) from Section A in Botshabelo, Free State.

“My friend introduced me to it and I’ve been using it without a problem for about six months.”

How successful the condoms are at protecting women from sexually transmitted infections or unwanted pregnancies is not known – but there are many beautifully made-up women in Botshabelo who are very happy.

Instead they have always lived in a one-room house abandoned by a villager more than 30 years ago.

The windows have been smashed and the door has been destroyed and the house has no electricity.

Phillip Mametja (63) and Mmalusi Monama (65) from Ga-Manthata, outside Polokwane in Limpopo, told Daily Sun that they met soon after their marriages went bad. They decided to move in together.

“We have been praying to God to bless us with a good Samaritan who will build us a house because our voices seem to have reached their limit,” said Phillip.
