A 30 year-old Nigerian national was arrested yesterday for dealing in drugs and being in possession of suspected stolen properties in Kleynhans Street, near Klerksdorp.
North West police said they acted on a tip-off about a house in the area dealing with drugs.
Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said police searched the house and found drugs to the street value of R46 195, which includes; crystal noth, rock coccaine, cat, mandrax and agga.
“Police also confiscated a gas bottle, computer materials and a digital camera. A toolbox with house breaking implements, two laptops, cellphones and jewellery to the value of R 57 500 were also confiscated,” Moleko said.
She also added that undisclosed amount of cash was also found at the scene and the suspect was expected to appear before Klerksdorp Magistrates’ Court on September 16.
