Buxton- One suspect was arrested and the other two are still at large amid shoot-outs in Buxton village, near Taung. North West police said, three men allegedly pounced on a shop and attempted to rob the owner.

Police were summoned and shoot-out ensued between police and suspects.

Sergeant Kealeboga Molale said, one suspect was arrested and will appear before Taung Magitrate’s Court soon.

“One suspect was arrested and police found suspected illegal firearm from him, and he will appear before court soon. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, and police investigations continue,” Molale said.
