Johannesburg – A man convicted of killing his mistress and repeatedly shooting and leaving his ex-wife for dead has had his parole deferred.

This followed his ex-wife being contacted by the department, correctional services department regional spokesperson Ofentse Morwane told News24.

Thabo Mokhele was jailed for 18 years in 2007 for shooting ex-wife Precious Eland over 10 times in March 2005 and killing mistress Mabel Kote while out on bail for shooting Eland.
