The vehicle had three women occupants inside. Upon questioning, the driver alleged that she was the fiancée of the vehicle’s owner.

“The owner was called and he informed the police that his vehicle was stolen in Sandton on Friday last week. The trio was then arrested and according to the information received, the suspects initially gave the police false information that they were on a business trip to Botswana although documents found inside their luggage indicated that they were travelling to Lusaka, Zambia,” she said.
