Pietermaritzburg – The Church Street Wimpy in Pietermaritzburg was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money when two armed men entered the restaurant on Monday night.

Two men holding guns stormed the Wimpy and allegedly demanded that everyone lie down on the floor while an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the cash register.

A witness to the incident, who would not be named, said the men entered the shop holding what appeared to be hand guns and began screaming at the people inside the store to get down on the floor.
