‘The sun set on Taung interpreter, family downhearted’

THE family of Nceba Novazi(45) was left crestfallen after his untimely death.

Nceba Novazi who was working at Taung Magistrate Court as translator was involved in a ‘head on’ collision accident between Vryburg and Taung on Friday.

According to reports, two cars were involved in a head on collision accident and left 14 people injured.

North West police spokesperson sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said two cars, a white quantum and a white mazda bakkie were found 500m apart.

“All fourteen passengers in a quantum were injured and a seven year-old baby and a driver in a bakkie were also injured. Vryburg police were summoned to the scene and found one person dead and other occupants injured,” Moleko said.

Ntsikelelo Novazi(34) who is a brother to the deceased said the family lost a father figure, a brother, a friend in Ncebo.

“My brother was always smiling, always encouraging us to work-hard in life. Death robbed us a giant, and his untimely death left a void in our hearts. We will forever remember him,” Ntsikelelo said.

Nceba leaves his wife and four kids behind.

North West police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and investigations continue.
