Three burnt bodies uncovered in Cape Town

Cape Town – The burnt bodies of three men were discovered in Lwandle, Cape Town, on Sunday morning, Western Cape police said.

Officers had driven into Asanda Village around 02:30 to follow up on complaint of a murder taking place, said police spokesperson, Colonel Tembinkosi Kinana.

Armed gang on the loose after blowing up ATM

Cape Town – An armed gang is on the loose after robbing a shop and blowing up an ATM in Somerset West, Western Cape police said on Sunday.

The seven gang members targeted a shop in Abelia Street, Heldervue around 07:00 on Saturday, said police spokesperson Tembinkosi Kinana.

They took an undisclosed amount of money from the shop tills. They also blew up an ATM inside the shop and took money from the machine before fleeing.

Port Shepstone – The Young Lions were ready to finally deal with the Economic Freedom Fighters, newly elected KwaZulu-Natal ANCYL chairperson Thami Ngubane said on Sunday.

Ngubane, who is also Umvoti mayor, was delivering his first address as the provincial leader of the youth league at the Ugu Sports and Leisure centre in Port Shepstone.
