Kimberley cops are investigating a case of possession of drugs, Northern Cape police spokesperson lieutenant Sergio Kock said.
According to Kock, on Friday at approximately 21:45, the Kimberley SAPS Visible Policing unit followed up on information regarding drugs sales at a house in Beaconsfield, Kimberley.
“Police raided the premises and found three women aged between 25 and 42 inside the house. Tik to the value of approximately R3500 and mandrax to the value of R1000 was discovered in one of the bedrooms” Kock said.
Police also confiscated R1100 in cash which will also be utilized as exhibits in the court of law.
Three suspects will appear at Kimberley Magistrates Court soon.
