Buxton tavern robbed, suspects fled

Taung- North West police are investigating a case of armed robbery after three unknown men entered a local tavern and demanded money.

Three men entered Happy valley tavern in Buxton village, near Taung armed. Two carrying firearms and another one armed with a choke.

The incident took place at around 20:00 on Thursday and the suspects robbed the owner undisclosed amount of money and left him with head injuries.

The suspects fled the scene and no shots were fired.

Police investigations continue.-TDN
