Johannesburg – National Freedom Party leader Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi conveyed her condolences to the families who lost loved ones in an accident in Limpopo on Saturday.
“It is unfortunate that accidents continue to take away the lives of our loved ones on our roads,” kaMagwaza-Msibi said.
Ten people were killed and 19 others injured when a bakkie and a taxi collided near Makhado, the Limpopo department of safety, security and liaison said.
“I am deeply saddened by what has occurred. “I take this opportunity to call upon drivers to be extra cautious when driving passengers to their destinations,” she said.
KaMagwaza-Msibi said she would ask the transport ministry to conduct a thorough investigation.
