Klerksdorp-South African mineworkers union (NUM) praised their member Sylvia Benjamin who was buried today in Klerksdorp.

Sylvia Benjamin died after long illness and she was laid to rest today.

“We learnt a lot from Benjamin and she showed the spirit of togetherness and put minerworkers need first before hers” Vavi said.

Sylvia Benjamin will be solely missed as she showed lot of leadership skills  within the organisation said ANCWL spokesperson Pinky Moloi.
