ANC president Jacob Zuma said yesterday that, with unemployment hitting record levels, South Africa needs a “job-seekers’ grant”.

Speaking at the party’s national policy conference, Zuma said all its members should debate policy reforms that would tackle the “triple threat” of inequality, poverty and unemployment, “especially among the youth”.
