5 May 2025- The ANC in the North West has sent its gratitude to the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) on the successful conclusion of the 10th North West Provincial Conference held at the Rustenburg Civic Centre, under the theme: “Driving Industrialization to achieve economic freedom now, not later.”
The ANC provincial secretary, Louis Diremelo said the election of new leadership within the ANCYL is a testament to the democratic processes that underpin the organisation and they are confident that these young leaders will carry forward the legacy of service and dedication to the people.
Diremelo said they believe that this new leadership will play a pivotal role in mobilizing the youth of the province, advocating for their rights and ensuring that their voices are heard in all phases of the struggle.

“The ANC remains committed to supporting the ANCYL in its endeavours to realise the twin tasks of the people’s revolution and to create a brighter future for the youth of the North West.
“We thank all delegates, organizers, and supporters who contributed to the success of the 10th ANCYL Provincial Conference. The dedication and commitment to the cause of youth empowerment is an emergency,” he said.
