A case against two suspects who were arrested in connection of attempted murder of a Taung prosecutor was briefly postponed by Taung Magistrates Court on Monday.

Sandile Mbogazi(38) was allegedly stabbed at Rooival village, near Taung after an argument ensued between him and two suspects at a local tavern.

Mbogazi suffered fatal injuries on his head and stomach and he was airlifted to Johannesburg private hospital for medical attention.

Two suspects were subsequently arrested a week after and appeared before Taung Magistrates Court and they were remanded in custody until their next appearance on 25th of June 2015.

Umthuthuzile Kula(22) and Siyabonga Forane(26) were arrested and charged with attempted murder.

They will be back in court on 25 June 2015 for bail application.
