Rustenburg- Police are investigating a case of attempted murder after the North West Provincial Legislature member’s car was allegedly shot at by unknown suspects at Rustenburg-Koster turn-off at approximately 19:30 on Monday. 

“It is alleged that the victim was travelling from Rustenburg to Mahikeng when she heard a loud bang and immediately stopped and went outside to inspect. According to the information available at this stage, the victim saw a hole on the shattered driver’s window” colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said.

The victim did not sustain any injury and the motive of the incident is unknown.

No one has been arrested and investigation into the matter continues.-TDN
