A woman has been shot dead on the main road in Kimberley on 27 December 2023. According to the Northern Cape police spokesperson, Colonel Cherelle Ehlers, the incident allegedly took place at approximately 1:30pm. Ehlers said the victim, who was with a teenager at the time, she was shot in the head and shoulder. She further said, the victim succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
“A teenage girl was unharmed. It is alleged that a domestic dispute led to the shooting. The suspect fled the scene in a silver polo.
