The Prieska police are appealing to the public to assist in locating Shandrifa Louw (17), who resides at 2438 Protea Close, Extension 15 in Prieska. The Northern Cape police spokesperson, Sergeant Timothy Sam said Louw was last seen on 28 February 2024, when she was on an outing with friends at the Koppie, which is a Heritage Site in Prieska.

“She left her friends at the Koppie to return home, but never arrived. Louw was wearing a pink top and orange short pants and was walking without shoes.

“Anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of Louw can contact Detective Warrent Officer Marshal Bosman on 0824954868 or 082 351 8073, including 08600 10111 or either sms anonymously to 32211 or use the MySAPS app. All information received will be treated confidentially,” he said.

Sam said the public is also reminded that, there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
