JOHANNESBURG – The Hawks investigating unit has arrested a bank employee for stealing nearly R2 million from his employer near Groblersdal in Limpopo.

The 30-year-old, who is responsible for loading money into ATMs, was arrested in a joint operation with local police today.  

He is said to have been loading half of the intended amount, while replacing the rest with fake bank notes.
