A woman was injured following a crash at the intersection of Sol Plaatjie and Wolmarans Street in Potchefstroom this afternoon.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a motor vehicle and heavy goods vehicle were involved in a crash.

“Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that a fifty-year-old woman sustained minor to moderate injuries during the crash,” Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said.

The injured woman was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
