A KIDNAPPING and murder case against Goitsemodimo Patrick Makoro, 34 was postponed by Vryburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Makoro was arrested a week after he allegedly kidnapped Nomthandazo Talakase, 4 from her home in Monotomosetlha Informal Settlements in Vryburg.

Nomthandazo was allegedly playing with her friends when she was kidnapped.

Her decomposed body was found in the veld after a week with a missing hand.

North West police said Nomthandazo went missing three weeks ago and her body was found by a shepard.

Police investigations led to Makoro’s arrest.

He appeared in Vryburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday and the case was postponed until Friday for bail application.

National Prosecuting Authority regional spokesperson, Frank Lesenyego said: “The case was postponed to give the accused more time to prepare for bail application argument.”
