NIGERIAN NATIONALIST ARRESTED FOR DRUG DEALING


Brits Police arrested a 33 year old Nigerian Nationalist yesterday, 12 July 2012 for dealing in drugs and failing to comply with the instruction of police. The police got a tip-off about the delivery of the drugs at De Kroon Primary School and they kept observation, where a silver Toyota Corolla was spotted approaching the school.

 

The suspect noticed the car and made a u-turn. The police officer approached him and he drove off. The police car chased him but could not stop until the police  fired a warning shot at his car. He still did not stop and the police officer called back – up, the suspect continued to sped off until the police fired two shots again , which hit the right rear tyre and the suspect stopped.

 

He refused to get out of his vehicle and was the police forced him to get out. They searched him and in his possession they  found R1 319-00, bank plastic packet containing 13 green tablets ( Ecstasy tablets, drugs) , 18 pieces of rock wrapped in tin foil, 12 pieces of chat in bank plastic packet, 6 pieces of chat wrapped up separately in a black plastic, Nokia 2700 and Nokia 2330.  The drugs were found under the driver’s seat. No injuries were sustained during the shooting incident and the investigation continues.

 

The  suspect will appear in Brits Magistrate court on Monday, 16 July 2012 , charged with dealing in drugs and failing to comply with the instruction of police.
