Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled seven new signings, including Erick Mathoho – or his jersey, at least. 

Chiefs have also signed Siyabonga Nkosi (no. 10), Siboniso Gaxa (no. 5), Kgotso Moleko (no. 18), Sakhile Hlongwa (no. 28), Morgan Gould (no. 83), Kingston Nkhatha (no. 8) and Brilliant Khuzwayo.

Khuzwayo was not officially unveiled because he was playing for Thanda Royal Zulu against Chippa United yesterday.

Jessica Motaung admits the Mathoho deal is not completely done. “I was unveiling the jersey [Mathoho’s no. 3] and I was not unveiling the player.”

“But I’m confident that Mathoho will be a Chiefs player.”
