After this Mandela month, many families will breath a sigh of relieve as their lives would have changed for ever. Many institutions including government are working together to better other people’s lives. Now Sefadi Monamodi is about to join the masses. The Moses Kotane Local Municipality in partnership with Sun City Resorts will construct a house for this 68-year-old pensioner from Moruleng.

Monamodi who survives on a old age grant, currently shares a one room shack with her 11-year-old grand child who attends a local school.

The Mayor of Moses Kotane Local Municipality, Fetsang Mokati-Thebe and the Sun City Corporate Social Investment team will lead the day’s proceedings and devote their 67 minutes by laying foundation for construction of the house thus ensuring that Monamodi finally gets a decent home on Monday.
