ANC in crisis

Johannesburg – The ANC is facing a crisis because of internal corruption and a lack of dignity within the party, national executive committee member Pallo Jordan said according to a weekend report.

The Saturday Star reported that Jordan said during the Bisho massacre memorial lecture in King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, on Friday that the African National Congress’s credibility was at its lowest point in 22 years.

“The leadership of the ANC has been stripped of its dignity. The ANC has lost legitimacy,” he said.

Jordan said the party needed a “dignified and moral” leadership to take over and clear out corruption.
