Taung-A 53 year-old man died after a car plunged on him in Lokgabeng village, near Taung.

Captain Pelonomi Makau said Komanyane Qobolo,53 was allegedly fixing his Toyota Cressida when the atrocity happened.

“A 53 year-old man was fixing his car which was on car jack. It is the jack slipped and the car plunged on a man” Makau said.

Qobolo’s body was removed by family members underneath the car.

He was certified death on the scene and a case of inquest was opened.
Qobolo suffered chest injuries that led to his death.
