Mahikeng-Time for local aspiring beauty queens and handsome guys to try their luck at stardom is here again.

Pageants who have been running for the second year are out, so it time for you to shine.

“This year’s leg of the event will be held month end of April and is expected to draw the attention of huge number of lasses. As a concert Jnr Face Of Mahikeng and Jnr Mr Mahikeng was conceptualized in 2013, with the aim of scouting talent for Miss Teenagers SA and Mr Teen SA” Lesco Events Organiser Lesego Molamu said.

The Organizer of the event, Lesego Molamu of Lesco Events says hosting this event is way through which his organization pledges it’s support in building the nation. 

“Our main aim is to assist in fighting social-economic issues that cripple our communities especially those who deal with abuse, peer-pressure and substance abuse” Molamu said. 

“Winning this competition doesn’t automatically promote one to glitz and glamour, it is a chance for the entrant to make a mark for themselves by being good role models, explains Bontle Sehemo Reigning Jnr Face Of Mahikeng 2013/2014. 

Last year Bontle Sehemo, has been involved in numerous activities ever since she was crowned last year May. She is doing Grade 10 this year at Sol Plaatjie High and has so far managed to inspire other girls as she went to represent the North West at Miss Teenagers SA.

“The age we targeting is from 14 to 17 years” outlines Molamu.

Auditions will be on the 01 March at Mmabana Mahikeng @09h00am.
