Kimberley man found hanged in the house

Galeshewe police are investigating a case of murder following the discovery of man’s body hanged in a house in Kokolohute Street, Galeshewe.

Northern Cape police said on Wednesday, the deceased’s neighbours became concerned about the stench which was coming out of the house which the deceased was living in, and alerted the police.

“Upon investigation we discovered a decomposed body of a 35-year-old Marshall Bogacwi hanging from the roof inside the house in which he was living in, his arms and legs were tied with a cable ties” lieutenant Olebogeng Tawana said.

Tawana said they suspect that the deceased was murdered.

No one has been arrested at this stage.

Police said any person with the information that can assist the police with the investigation in this case is requested to contact the investigating officer, Constable Bapallo Motshepe at 082 4690 139 / or give an anonymous tip-off at 08600 10 111, all the information shall be handled with stringent confidentiality.
