Three nabbed for dagga worth R500 000 in Kimberley

Kimberley-North Cape police arrested three suspect for being in possession of dagga on Monday.
Police allegedly stopped and search a taxi the suspects were travelling in on Old Bloemfontein road and discovered dagga worth R500 000.
“We have just arrested three suspects on Old Bloemfontein road,in Kimberley on Monday. Three suspects were allegedly travelling in a minibus and dagga worth R500 000 were discovered” lieutenant Sergio Kock said.
Dagga dealing is rife in Kimberley as last week Friday police also arrested a woman in Pella with dagga worth R14 000.
Kock said the suspects originate from Kwazulu-Natal province and will appear at Kimberley Magistrate Court soon.
Police investigations continue.
