Gauteng-Democratic Alliance had their Elective Conference today in Boksburg,Birchwood Conference Centre.
DA president Helen Zille remains as the party leader after being elected unopposed.
“Democratic Alliance is a party that is fighting for freedom. Yes, we have our past leaders who fought for democracy, but how important it is when you have freedom but you can’t use it” she said.
“That is why here at DA we say Honour your past and own your future. Most of the people in the country felt hard done by the governing party” Zille adds.
The premier also narrated some few stories that believes could draw a bigger picture of which direction does her party want to take.
She also pulled no punches and encourages people of South Africa to stand up and fight for what they believe in.
“Stand up and fight for freedom. DA has done a lot of things for its people compare to the ruling party. So,we can only do more if you vote us in power. Vote for DA and what we doing in Western Cape and Midvaal in Gauteng will be passed on across the country” Zille said.
“Democratic Alliance is the only ideal party to help you achieve your objectives. Our mandate is very simply, Freedom that you can use” Refiloe Ntsheke said.
“Currently 71% of police failed fitness test in Gauteng and they still serving us. Most people are migrating to Western Cape because of service delivery DA offers” she said.
