Grahamstown – A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Grahamstown High Court for raping a six-year-old girl, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday.

Captain Stefanie Smith said Piet Seekoei, 47, was convicted and sentenced last week.

The man raped the girl at Middelburg, Eastern Cape on December 20 last year, he said.
