Itsoseng- On Saturday, 23 June 2012 at about 15:40 a Toyota Quantum with ten(10) passengers and the driver was from Itsoseng to Mafikeng.

A Red Toyota Corolla was from Skoongezicht to Itsoseng.

Allegedly the driver of the Toyota Quantum overtook a vehicle and collided with the Corolla.  Nine of the passengers of the Quantum were seriously injured and the driver of the Quantum injured both his legs They were transported to Bophelong Hospital for medical treatment.

“The driver of the Corolla was trapped inside the vehicle and died on the scene.  One of the passengers inside the Quantum also died” Captain Botma said.

A culpable Homicide is being investigated .
