21 June 2025- The Northern Cape MEC for Land Reform, Agriculture and Nature Conservation and Environmental Affairs, Mase Manopole, together with Sol Plaatje Municipality’s acting Executive Mayor, Diteko Dioka, successfully led the commemoration of Youth Month and Environmental Month in Roodepan, Northern Cape yesterday.
Monopole said the day featured a series of impactful activities, including a Cleaning and Greening Campaign , a Veterinary Outreach Service and a vibrant Youth Market Day — all aimed at empowering young people and promoting sustainable community development.
“The department extends its heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, youth participants, and community members who contributed to the success of this integrated event, which underscores our commitment to resilient youth, sustainable communities, and a greener Northern Cape,” she said.
