Hartswater Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after an accident between a bus and three cyclist occurred, says Northern Cape police.

The gruesome took place on Tuesday at approximately 06:00 a bus.

According Northern Cape police spokesperson lieutenant Sergio Kock, traveling in the same direction and collided with three cyclists on their way to work.

The accident occurred on the road between Hartswater and Pampierstad.

One of the men died on the scene and the other two cyclists are said to be in a serious condition in the Hartswater Hospital.

“The exact cause for the accident is under investigation. The names of the deceased cannot be released at this stage, as their next of kin still needs to be informed,” Kock said.
The investigation continues.
