JOHANNESBURG – The brother of Collins Chabane is taking action against a man he says is making false claims about the death of the late Public Service and Administration Minister.

The man who claims to be a family relative wrote on Facebook last week that the late minister was assassinated.

He further said that the truck driver Amukelani Rikhotso involved in the fatal crash, had confessed to being paid to do so –  by an ANC member of the provincial executive council.

Percy Chabane is meeting with ANC members at the Polokwane police station to open a case against Thembani Chabane.

ANC provincial spokesperson Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has denied the allegations.
