Bloemhof-More than 3000 people have been dispersed by North West police and more than sixty people arrested after the picketing.

The residents of Boitumelong Township went on the rampage this morning.

Sabc reported that the residents were demanding that their leaders be freed from jail and schools were disrupted. The looting of foreign-owned shops were looted and public transport were also disrupted.

According to sabcnews the residents want the mayor of Kwa-Temane municipality and its councillors to resign after being accused of nepotism and failing to provide service delivery.-TDN
