10 February 2025- The police appeal to the community to assist them in locating a missing person, David Waterboer (14), who went missing on 7 February 2025, Nababeep. Waterboer was allegedly last seen at his house on 7 January 2025, around 11:30am and later apparently also seen at the athletics in Concordia.

The Northern Cape police spokesperson, Lieutenant Sergio Kock said he was apparently seen again at a bus stop in Concordia on 8 February 2025 at around 6:20am. Kock said the police assisted by community structures, established a search team to search for Warerboer.

“He was reported missing to the police on 8 January 2025 and all information can be forwarded to Detective Sergeant Deory Smit on 082 495 5305. Alternatively, you can call the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or utilize the MySaps app.

“The public is reminded that there is no waiting period to report a person missing,” he said.
