27 October 2025 – The police in Orkney are requesting community assistance in locating a man (37), who is a Lesotho national and a traditional healer. According to the police, Ramokgoro Samuel Tladi was last seen by his wife on 28 August 2025, when he left Lesotho heading to Orkney.

The North West police spokesperson, Constable Thuto Bobelo said after arriving in Orkney later in the evening at around 6:05pm, he confirmed telephonically with his wife that he arrived in Orkney. Bobelo said, however, he has not communicated with anyone since then.

“A search was conducted around Orkney without any success and nobody has seen him. Extensive investigations were done and all leads were followed up with no positive results. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red t-shirt, brown trouser with Timberland sneakers and a red and grey blanket. He is brown in complexion, weighs about 120kg and is 1.7m tall.

“He is bald with a black beard and moustache.
