18 March 2025- The police in Kagisho are seeking assistance with regard to persons of interest who can possibly assist with the investigation of fraud and pick-pocketing cases. The police said the first person of interest is a female, who can assist in cases of fraud where the suspect allegedly alters the complainant’s identity document and opens cell phone contracts.
The Northern Cape police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Sergio Kock said as soon as the suspect receives the cell phone, then she allegedly disappears and the phone number is disconnected. Kock said in a separate incident, an unknown man allegedly pick-pockets in shops and shopping centres in and around Kagisho.
“The unknown male person of interest in the picture can possibly assist with information regarding the alleged occurrences. Anyone with information can call Detective Warrant Officer Bok Borraine on 082 469 0724 or call SAPS crime stop number 08600 10111 or utilize the MySaps app.
“All information will be treated confidentially. The investigation continues,” he said.
