A man nabbed for dealing in dagga in Upington

A man (34) was arrested for allegedly dealing in dagga. The Members of Upington Border Police, Upington K9 unit and ZFM High-Way Patrol, allegedly received a tip-off regarding drugs being sold at one of the premises in Upington on Thursday.

The ZF Mgcawu District police spokesperson, Sergeant Omphile Masegela said the police executed a search warrant at the premises and confiscated dagga with a street value of R852 500.

“The police in the ZFM District are working tirelessly to remove the drugs from the streets.

“They arrested suspect is expected to appear in court soon,” she said.
