SACP provincial Secretary in Bokone Bophirima, Madoda Sambatha was sacked as MEC for Public Works and Roads on Thursday.

Bokone Bophirima Premier, Supra Mahumapelo said they sacked Sambatha after extensive consultation and mandated by the ANC. 

“Reasons for the release of Sambatha as  the MEC were given to him in writing and in a meeting held on Thursday. 

“We want to thank Sambatha for his contribution to deal with challenges of poverty, inequality and unemployment,” Mahumapelo said.

Sambatha has been vocal and called for President Jacob Zuma’s resignation recently.
