SEDA hosts its annual stakeholder forum in Kimberley

MINISTER of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Zulu will deliver a keynote address on the overall performance of one of its agencies, Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), at the Annual Stakeholder Forum.

The event will take place at Mittah Sperepere Convention Centre in Kimberly on Friday.

Northern Cape premier, Sylvia Lucas and MEC for Economic Development and Tourism, Mack Jack will grace the proceeding.

Business Development department spokesperson, Cornelius Monama said: “Section 13E (6) of the National Small Business Amendment Act, Act 29 of 2004 requires that SEDA through its Board of Directors, organise a yearly consultative meeting with stakeholders where they report on the Agency’s achievements.

“About 200 National and Provincial Stakeholders of SEDA have been invited to this event. The Minister, the Premier, the MEC, Chairperson of Board and the Chief Executive Officer will brief the media at the end of the event.”
