CAPE TOWN – The Tutu family says doctors are encouraged by the progress being made byArchbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.

The Archbishop underwent a surgical procedure on Wednesday after being admitted to hospital for a recurring infection three weeks ago.

Leah Tutu says doctors hope to be able to discharge him this week.
